What this site is

DialysisCenterUSA is an independent informational directory. We display publicly available quality and outcome data published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for Medicare-certified dialysis facilities in the United States. Our role is to make that government data easier to find and compare. We are not a healthcare provider, a referral service, or a medical advisory service.

This is not medical advice

Nothing on this site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. CMS star ratings, standardized ratios, infection rates, transplant referral percentages, and all other data displayed on this site are informational tools — one input among many when evaluating dialysis options. Treatment decisions, including which dialysis facility to use, should be made in consultation with your nephrologist, healthcare team, and other qualified medical professionals who know your specific situation.

Data accuracy and limitations

All facility data on this site is sourced from the CMS Dialysis Facility Compare dataset and displayed as published. We do not modify, weight, or editorially adjust any CMS data. While we import each quarterly CMS release within one week of publication, the data may lag behind current facility conditions by up to 90 days or more.

CMS data has known limitations: small-volume facilities may have statistically less reliable ratios; newly certified facilities may lack sufficient historical data; and star ratings reflect past performance, not a guarantee of future care. We present this data as a research tool and encourage you to verify critical information directly with the facility and your healthcare provider.

No endorsement

The appearance of any facility on this site is not an endorsement. A high CMS star rating does not guarantee a positive experience, and a low rating does not mean a facility is unsafe or unsuitable for your needs. We list every Medicare-certified dialysis facility in our database regardless of ownership, rating, or whether the facility has any relationship with this site.

This site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
